Bixby Bridge Package
We're honored Big Sur's very own Bixby Creek Bridge was chosen to be featured as a commemorative stamp of 2010. The Bixby Bridge joins Nobel Peace Prize honoree Mother Teresa, the Hawaiian rain forest, legendary actress Katharine Hepburn
and the XXI Winter Olympics, among others as subjects in the USPS's 2010 stamp program.
Built in 1932, the two-lane, 714-foot-long Bridge is one of the world's highest single-span concrete arch bridges and continues to connect millions of travelers to Big Sur and other coastal towns along CA Highway 1. In celebration of this great honor and as a tribute to the Bixby Bridge we enhanced our best offer to include a limited edition Bixby Creek Bridge Express Stamp and a copy of the Post Ranch Inn history book.
